The myth

Every myth holds a story that time has chosen to tell and another that remains waiting to be heard. Nausicaa belongs to that second story.
In the Odyssey, she is the young princess who welcomes Ulysses to the shores of Scheria, when the sea has stripped him of everything. With her kindness, courage, and intelligence, she offers him shelter, protection, and a way to start anew. It is thanks to her that Odysseus is welcomed by the Phaeacians and receives the ship that will finally take him to Ithaca.

Yet, despite being the turning point of his journey, Nausicaa remains on the margins of the story: a luminous presence, destined to accompany the hero’s journey for but a moment.
Her name runs through the pages of the myth like a subtle light: essential, yet often forgotten. What happens when history is viewed from a different perspective?
We imagine that Nausicaa’s journey begins right there, at the moment when the pages stop telling her story. When she is no longer the reflection of someone else’s destiny, but the protagonist of her own. Her odyssey is not a return. It is a discovery.
It is the journey of a woman who chooses herself, who traverses the world guided by curiosity, freedom, and the desire to know what lies beyond the horizon. An independent, courageous, and authentic woman who lives in no one’s shadow. Nausicaa was created to give voice to that story that has remained silent for centuries. To bring to light a figure that myth had left in the background and to imagine her journey, celebrating all women who make their own freedom their most important destination.
